Description
Spanish Cypress smells like the fresh, lingering scents of pine forests with hints of smoke and sweetness. It's like bringing home a cottage from the edge of the forest from Spain - right to your living room! Cypress oil has antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antifungal properties. It helps boost your mood, and relieve stress and anxiety.
How to use
Use it with your aftershave oil, or dilute and apply it to your legs before a run. Use it to help your cough symptoms. Can be applied to alleviate muscle pain, poor blood circulation and body odour! Diffuser recipe? Here you go! 2 drops of Spanish cypress oil 3 drops of Himalayan cedarwood oil 5 drops of Italian bergamot oil
Where is it sourced?
Our Spanish Cypress oil is an essential oil made from the twigs, leaves and branches of the Cupressus sempervirens, also known as Mediterranean cypress. We use the process of steam distillation to retain all of its goodness.
Caution
Never use any essential oil directly on your skin. Always dilute.
Spanish Cypress oil should be diluted with 1 drop of Spanish Cypress oil in a 10ml bottle, 8-12 drops in a 30 ml bottle. If ingesting, the ratio should be 1 drop of Spanish Cypress oil to about 100ml (3.5 oz) of liquid. You can add it to your tea for a calming brew. Best carrier oil pairing: Spanish Cypress oil blends well with avocado oil, grapeseed oil, and olive oil. It also goes well with other carrier oils such as coconut oil, jojoba oil, and sweet almond oil.
For best results, blend it with similar Mediterranean origin carrier oils.
