Description
Ollie's tea tree oil comes from bushes grown in the eastern part of Australia, the native home of this plant. Most tea tree plantations are on floodplains, as tea tree loves water.

Did you know that it takes about 63 kg of leaves to make 1 kg of oil? Tea tree oil effectively supports wellness and is an excellent oil to employ for its antiseptic, antimicrobial and antifungal properties.

In fact, it was used by native Australians throughout history to treat topical wounds.

Tea tree oil is a common ingredient in skincare products because it calms redness, swelling and inflammation. But did you know that store-bought skincare products contain loads of chemicals, which can harm your skin?

Tea tree oil can also unclog hair follicles, removing dead skin cells, oil and product build-up.

How to use
Tea tree oil is hugely popular in the beauty industry as well as in household cleaning products, due to its antiseptic, antimicrobial and antifungal properties. It can also be applied topically in ointments, salves and compresses to encourage skin health and is an important oil for cleansing and restoring healthy skin tissue when properly diluted.

This oil is often used to inhibit bacterial, microbial, and viral infections, while also killing insects, protecting wounds from becoming septic, promoting absorption of nutrients, speeding up the healing rate of scars and after marks.

Try diffusing Ollie's tea tree oil too! It's the perfect perk-me-up for those mid-afternoon slumps, when I need to really stay alert and focus on my work. TEA TREE OIL DIFFUSER BLEND 2 drops of tea tree oil 2 drops of nilgiri eucalyptus oil 2 drops of peppermint oil

Where is it sourced?
Ollie's tea tree oil is sourced from New South Wales in Eastern Australia, where we believe the best quality tea tree leaves come from. As we are committed to sustainability, we source oils only from farms that don't employ harmful chemicals in their cultivation of tea trees and production of oils. We personally test every incoming batch of oil for colour, odour, composition and character to ensure it meets the highest standards, before we bottle them for you!

Caution
Important! Tea tree oil is toxic when ingested, so never consume it orally or leave it out where children or pets can do so. Ingesting it can cause nausea, dizziness, diarrhoea, and vomiting. Tea tree oil should only be used topically (on the skin) and not on any mucous membranes such as the eyes or inside the mouth. Before using, tea tree oil must be diluted with a carrier oil of your choice. Use tea tree oil sparingly to avoid burns or irritation. More is not always better!
